Jet Bowling Turbulence
Jet Bowling came out with this ball just for this type of lane conditions, chaotic and unstable.
I had mine laid out 75x 5 x 40 as per normal, but this time round I had it shined up more from the oob. I wasn’t exactly a fan of balls with asymmetrical cores but this time round the Turbulence really changed my mind set toward asymmetrical cored balls.
First outing with the ball, I wasn’t too impressed with it for it came in weak, so I was like thinking “oh man is this gonna be a fluke in my hands again?”
Went home and pondered hard about what happened, how come with the same type of lanes my Max Pearl and Extreme Altitude was working but not the Turbulence….
Second outing for the league the next day, I decided to give it a try again, I went to my usual 15-10 line the ball was a bit over/under, so I was telling myself “what the heck, why fight the lanes? Just do the old school way”
Moved out to a 10-10 line and the ball came alive, immediately, as if it was fitted with nos in a sports car, it went on hitting the pocket like there was endless amount of energy in the ball and it kept wanting more.
As the night progressed on, the ball became more and more ferocious with added carry down.
Maybe with fresh oil and clean backend the ball might seem too much for some but for me once the carry down is present, the ball works even more.
Truly a masterpiece from Jet Bowling, the Turbulence, never leave home without it.

Jet Bowling Pilot
This ball has been touted to be very versatile for a lot of bowlers out there.
For me it performs best for medium dry to dry lanes.
However you might need to play with the surface to get this ball going.
Hopefully Jet bowling can come out with a different cover for this ball.
Oh ya did i mention that this ball glows in the dark?
HAHAHAHA....looks like a fun piece of equipment for cosmic or glow in the dark bowling but performs like a monster. *extracted from singaporebowlingballreviews.blogspot.sg/

Jet Bowling Black Bird
I drill up a lot of polyesters for I like to just use polyesters and throw them straight down the 2nd arrow if the lanes are unplayable. So when Jet Bowling came out with the Black Bird, there is no way I would give up this opportunity to own it and compliment my bowling outfit if I was using jet bowling balls that day. Hey if ladies can have clothing to match their bags and shoes why can’t bowlers have the polyester of the same brand matching the main balls being used? I though this will be the same as any polyesters that would enable me to slide the ball just to the side of the 4 pin, sending it sliding across the deck to take out the 10 pin but I was wrong about this ball. THIS BALL HOOKS!!!!! Yes! You did not see wrongly, this ball just cuts across the lanes and makes a turn going straight and when I though it will just slide past the 4 pin just lightly touching it,it actually makes a turn and sometimes instead of taking the 7 pin as well, it just makes so much turn that it actually leaves the 7 pin standing. And I thought that only the hammer taboo polyester and hammer true blood does this sort of thing, boy I was totally wrong, is that really a pan cake core inside that ball? Or did they really put the engine of the stealth fighter inside that ball? There were even times that I did use the storm polar ice to compare with the black bird and I find that both the polar ice and black bird with the pan cake core hooked about the same amount of boards.

Jet Bowling Extreme Altitude
Jet bowling has discontinued the Altitude and replaced it with the Extreme Altitude which boasts of a much stronger cover than the Altitude while keeping the core that was used in the Altitude and Max Altitude Pearl. This is the move that excited me the most for I know this is how Rotogrip did with the Defiant and Defiant edge and Defiant Soul and Totally Defiant or how Storm went with the Marvel and Marvel Pearl and now with the Marvel S. And in Jet Bowling’s case, instead of going for another pearl and hybrid, they went for another stronger solid instead. “Is this a smart move? Given that most centers are not oiling the lanes with so much oil nowadays” that’s the question that I queried myself a few times. As usual, the ball was laid out with 75 x 5 x 40 and this time round I had it polished up at 4000 for the 4000 matt oob look that it came with was practically screaming out to me “GIVE ME OIL!” but unfortunately centers here don’t have the luxury of that much oil that this ball was craving for hence the polish. Along with it was another Max Altitude Pearl which was laid out the same way but left oob at 2000 polished. I went to bowl league with these 2 balls without even practicing for a few games, only threw a couple of warm up shots. At 4000 shine I tot it would still be over hooking in med-light oil but I was wrong, I started the game with the extreme and I was able to get it slicing through the mid lane and turning violently at the breakpoint smashing all the pins that was standing in the way. 2nd game the heads were drying up so I switched to the max pearl. Mid way tru the last game the max pearl was giving problems dealing with the carry down so I took a risk and went back to the extreme and played outside, surprisingly, like a hot knife going through solid butter, the extreme cut through all the carry down and I finished the game with a bang. Next day league was at another center and as usual towards the end of the games, I could use the extreme to cut through the carry down. This ball needs oil and its actually soaks oil up like a sponge, like the simple green u use to clean grease off just by a wipe. A must have for anybody who craves for a ball that needs oil.
